Type & Image

In my role I lead a class of 17 sophomore students. I created a syllabus that highlighted assignments, projects, and classroom policies. In this class, students executed a semester-long type and image project around Exhibition Design.

Within this assignment, I guided students through four projects that included brand identity, posters, merchandise & signage, and web materials. All of these materials were to be designed within the same exhibition brand identity, of their making. During class time I provided one-on-one critique, along with facilitating group critiques within student small groups. Along with feedback I gave lectures about design and typography principles, including tutorials and readings.
